Three including Forest Division Chief caught red handed with bribe money

BARA: A team of officials deployed by the Commission for the Investigation Abuse of Authority, Hetauda took into custody three government staffers from Forest Division Office in Simara after they were found to be involved in organised graft.

The CIAA officials caught Chief Shiv Shankar Thakur, Assistant Forest Officer Gauri Shankar Keshari and Office Assistant Ram Chandra  Adhikari in possession of Rs 115,000 in bribe.

The accused were caught red-handed when Assistant Officer Keshari who seeking bribe had promised wood to a service seeker, sent Adhikari to fetch the money.
