KATHMANDU: After criticism of the government’s plan to fell trees in Nijgadh for construction of international airport, International Committee on Friday formed a five-member sub-committee led by former prime minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, to monitor construction of airports in the country.
Other members of the sub-committee are Dibya Mani Rajbhandari, Deepak Prakash Bhatta, Nirjala Raut and Chand Tara Kumari. The committee will also monitor Nijgadh International Airport building process.
